SHEEP SORREL (RUMEX ACETOSELLA)

4.95

Wild cousin to the culinary varieties of sorrel.  The young leaves are tender and deliciously sour, a taste that is tonifying to the liver and digestive system, and are an excellent spring tonic.  Add the leaves to soups, stews, wild salads, or eat fresh in the garden.  Ingredient in the famous cancer folk remedy Essiac.  A very small and diminutive herb that spreads by runners.  Flowers to 1 ft, space 6 inches apart.
