Spring Herbal Immersion: 9 days of flora, Funga + food of the Zagori Bioregion of Greece
Join me and fellow herbalists and mushroom experts for a 9 day exploration of the Zagori, Epirus and the Northern Pindus range during early/late Spring. Greece is an absolute botanical wonderland this time of year and we’ll explore the forests and high meadows of the Pindu Mtns and meet the plethora of flora and fungi that make their home there.
Our trip will also take us through traditional villages where we’ll partake in regional culinary delicacies, forage for truffles, learn to dye local wool with mushrooms and herbs, distill hydrosols from the land, make medicine, and we’ll even visit Greece’s “city of mushrooms,” Grevena.
This will be a very special trip!
